Do you remember the Opel Adam Rocks Concept from this year's Geneva auto show? As it turns out, Vauxhall / Opel plans to launch an open version of the Adam that will use a retractable roof like the one from the study, and which is similar to the Fiat 500C's roof.

According to a report from German magazine Auto Motor und Sport, Opel will shortly make an announcement about the launch of an Adam cabriolet. The soft top will be electrically operated and will fold on the rear edge of the roof.
As for the crossover look of the Adam Rocks concept, it is also possible that the series production model will feature elements such as the pronounced wheel arches, central exhaust pipe, boomerang-shaped turn signals and 18-inch wheels.
The Adam city car is also one of the most advanced Vauxhall / Opel models in terms of infotainment features, which the carmaker wants to expand to the entire range. “We have already begun with the Adam to bring apps into the car. A whole new world of communication opens up,” Neumann told the magazine.
Another priority for the new CEO is the renewal of the engine lineup, with 80 percent of all powerplants to be replaced by 2016 with more modern and fuel-efficient units.<div id="watchlr_dummy_element_for_plugin_detection">

One thing is for sure the 1.2 70bhp engine combined with the extra weight of the cabrio roof that thing won't be going anywhere quick!
