Does anyone know if I can take the boot emblem off the adam, to spray or change. Very simple with other cars but not sure if it can be done on the adam as it is also the boot release

Think you need to take off the plastic trim behind the badge,then undo all the nuts and bolts for the lock system

I'll have to start tearing it apart and have a proper look then.just wasn't sure if it could be done

So I just had a quick look got past the plastic to get to the lock, but I gave the badge another look before I started taking the lock off. There's a problem, taking it out would get me better access but won't solve the problem. The griffin is attached glue/pins/clips? I'm not sure but it's attached to a paint coloured plate

so getting the lock off is an option but I'll still be stuck once I get it off. So I still need to figure out how to get it off the plate, which I think I could do without taking the lock off

The painted plate is the same size as the griffin. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it's the red behind the griffin
