Hi All,
New to forum! Had my Adam 2 weeks and was washing the car for the first time and noticed this on my rear brake drum (other one is perfectly fine). It appears there is a chunk missing, as if some has splintered off? Question is, is it dangerous - maybe it was already there as it is black (I assume the metal is not black all the way through and they spray it?). I have just emailed dealers, but am I being dramatic in wanting it fixed/part replaced? Chunk missing is quite big, probably 15cm long.
P.s. Adam is all black. Every option chosen is black - love the car :D
The splinter is at the top left if you look at the pic below you can see it.

Just to let you all know. Apparently this is normal? I'm not sure I agree, I have heard of weights being added to balance a drum, but a piece missing in such a way is odd. I haven't actually taken it in, but the technician on the phone says so. Anyone else have lumps missing out of their drums?
