Is there any way to override the safety feature of watching films, so that the passenger can watch movies whist the car is in motion?

I've not watched a movie on mine but I'd assume it's connected to the handbrake. You'd need to disconnect that.

I was told from the vauxhall dealer that if you had the handbrake on one click it would work, because that would make the car think it was stationary, but it has the same beeping sound that you would get from not wearing your seatbelt, then it just stops playing the movie as your driving and just has sound.

Theres a resister you can buy off ebay that tricks the stereo into thinking the handbrakes on but doesnt bring up the handbrake warning things on the car, i know bassjunkies.com can fit them as they did to another car i had years ago.
Most aftermarket systems just need the earth of the handbrake to be connected (handbrake on) but pioneer and most standard stereos require a live signal so the handbrake on doesnt work correct.

Dont know about the adam wiring mind :/
