So I ordered my Adam middle of November and got my first box ticked a week or so afterwards confirming a build slot for the 19th, today! But does that mean it is being built today or does it mean from Friday on wards it will be built?

Likely be built today, then you should get your second tick saying it is having quality checks done - then third tick when it is on route to your dealers... Though I got my third tick after I had picked the car up from my dealership.
