</h2>The Vauxhall Adam will be offered with a built-in bike carrier as an option, much like the one advertised on the Corsa.

The optional extra - which is already available in the Vauxhall range - features a drawer which incorporates the rear number plate. When pulled out, the drawer reveals a lockable fold-out bike rack, which allows a bicycle weighing up to 30kg to be transported.
An additional adaptor can be clipped on to allow another bike, weighing up to 20kg, to be carried.
Vauxhall claims that the FlexFix rack requires no extra tools, and will still allow access to the boot even when loaded, as the rack tilts to facilitate this.
As it's an integrated system, the Adam's parking sensors will still operate, too.
