How would everyone say the service was that you got when enquiring/ordering your adam.I work in sales but we pride ourselves on customer service so I'm sure if I'm being over critical or if it is a general thing but the service is pretty darn poor.I eventually ordered mine from Wilson and Co in Chorley who were great when I was thinking of buying - the only people to offer a test drive. They seem slightly out of the loop but I put that down to it still being relatively new and me being very picky about what I want. Since ordering I haven't been told about the tracking service, I only got an automated text about my order being brought forward, they have had to update my order form 3-4 times and still waiting for my most recent one. They don't return my calls and feel like I'm constantly chasing them which I think is completely unacceptable. It also make me very nervous about my car being delivered and not being right. Can I refuse to accept the car? How has everyone else found the service form their dealer, where did you get it and.... did you get a good deal?

My dealership was crap too. Didn't know what they were selling and never returns phone calls. When I complained to vauxhall they rang me to apologize and put it down to mine being the first adam they had sold. Thought it was a bit of a lame excuse tho. They should know it inside out before they sell one I think??

Agree with comments above. I have previously driven a Yaris for the last 10 years, changing my car every 2 years and was treated like royalty by Toyota, I was very reluctant to move away but the latest SR model just doesn't have the spec I wanted, however Adam does. The Vauxhall experience has been dreadful -got ignored in first dealership I went to, second dealership clueless about the Adam models and specifications , third one played stupid games with me and wanted tome to buy a pre-registered car without seeing it! So I purchased from a fourth dealership, but they only got the deal through the skin of their teeth, arranged appointment to go and do a deal which wasn't put in the sales person's diary when we turned uphe wasn't expecting us.When I ordered wasn't told about the tracking system and recievedno updates from the dealer. When I picked it upthe handover took no more than 10 minutes, sales person obviously in hurry to get home that night. Realised 2 days later that the vehicle wasfitted with wrong number plates - what happened to pre delivery checks? I got an apology but no explanation. Now being harrased on a daily basis about buying gap insurance, service plans etc etc.I love the car, but Vauxhall have got a lot to learn about customer service.

Got mine from Bristol Street in Macclesfield with no probs at all. Really pleased - although I am still not sure I am using all the gadgets properly - fingers crossed I haven't had to go back. Really good service and after service. Got one call about GAP and service, declined and that was it - A* for Vauxhall!!

I got mine from Bristol street in Chesterfield after the one in Macclesfield failed to ring me back. The chesterfield branch weren't perfect, I rang them a few times, but they always rang back if I left a message. Stockport vauxhall - Evans Halshaw are rubbish at communication, I've never been kept up to date with them.

Vauxhall need to use hidden shoppers I think to fine bad franchises

Couldn't agree more the system they use now is Net Promoter Score which is supposed to give a more rounded opinion of customer feedback but by reading all the above its clear Vauxhall really are slacking, should send us all in with hidden cameras!! I also went to multiple dealerships before deciding and refused to go to Evans Halshaw after the Wigan branch sent my corsa away without locking wheel nuts and when I asked they said I had to pay for them and despite taking every extra they could throw at me (at full cost) they forgot to mention I was entitled to 10% off parts when I spent £152 on a new tyre. Absolute joke. Shame really, lets a fantastic group of cars down by the people that seem to just be taking our well earned money.

Got mine from York Ward and Rowlett in Wellingborough, when I ordered mine as they were so new and I had played around the configurator a fair bit I ended up swapping seats with the salesman and showing him and his colleagues how the configurator worked, then once I ordered it with the salesman I was dealing with he forgot to process the order further, he's since left YWR in W'boro and the order was reprocessed and the car actually came sooner than expected despite the hiccup. When the cararrived to my surprise they'd actually fitted a winter pack and full leather seats instead of the half leather I'd ordered andat no extra cost also with afree set of car mats. When I received the car the salesman had already programmed all the radio stations andwent through all the features and functions of the car, I've sincehad to take the car back once to the dealer to have thedriver's seat looked atas the leather had come away by the lever which you use to access the rear of the car, I simply thought they'd fix it but they replaced thecomplete seat cover under the warranty,I would recommend YWR in Wellingborough they are always friendly and helpful and I've been dealing with them for years when I had Vauxhall company cars.

Bendy fingers that is good news! I too got full leather seats when I'd ordered half and because I've got Purple Fiction paint my seats are Purple - love them! I wonder why they did it though

I pick my Adam up on Saturday from VAUXHALL CAFFYNS in Ashford Kent and I couldn't have wished for a better service, they weren't pushy like some dealers and got regular phone calls every couple of weeks to let me know what was happening. Would definately give Caffyns 5/5

My dealership was amazing.
The woman kept in contact regularly to let me know what was happening and when I needed to go in and sign things.
I had my driving test booked the week my car arrived (yes I hadn't even passed my test before I ordered the car).
They were going to stay open later on Christmas Eve so I could pick it up after my test but then they decided to bring it to my door.
Even gave me extra full and tons of freebies and vouchers :)
Really amazed at the service!!

We just ordered our car(Adam Slam with loads of extras) from a London dealership. And the service was horrendously poor. We were taken care by so called Adam Specialist. She didn't know anything about the car what so ever. When asked about details of individual features, she just read it off the brochure and didn't know what they really were. On test drive, she sat at the back, eating pack of crisps. She didn't know if car had Start/Stop, and was told Morocanna seats were leather.
How can Vauxhall dealer can call someone specialist without knowledge of what that person was selling? I have changed my can every two/three years and. To be honest, best customer service I received was from Fiat dealer in Hounslow. This has to be one of worse experience of buying a car I've had.
Lets hope handover is smooth and that they keep their words and deliver the car first week of March with new Reg.
